[help/question]Max texture size?

Hi all,

I read the FAQ. I also did a research on Google on this topic. I would like to know the maximum texture file size that MapSplitter.exe can handle. I tried with a 8k by 16k (134 217 728 pixels) file and the program give me back a message saying: "Runtime error!". I don't think it's a memory matter (4 Gig of RAM on my computer). I tried with a file 4k by 8k and it works but I need to work with the original file. I thought PLSM would be able to manipulate large file. Maybe I'm just wrong too. Anyone having experiencing this before, i.e. working with large file with PLSM ?
