Running Slow in debug mode

Hi,
When i run the precompiled demo on my system, it runs smoothly but when i run the project in debug mode, it is very jerky. Can you please tell me what i am doing wrong.

If you mean jerky as in slow (fps), thats normal. Usually debug builds are much slower.

I get that but its giving me 8 Fps which is very low especially when i have this system
Core 2 Due 3.1 GHZ(E8500)
4GB RAM
GeForce 9800 GTX+

Also when i run the demo, it gives me 110 Fps. There is a HUGE GAP of 100 fps which is a lot i think. Is this Normal in debug mode???
