I'm trying to install the PhysX System Software (PhysX_9.10.0513_SystemSoftware.exe) on Windows 7, 64-bit, with an ATI Radeon HD 4850 X2.
I double-click the EXE, then get a system message popup from User Account Control asking if it's okay to proceed. I click Yes. Then I get the NVIDIA PhysX Setup dialog, review it and click where it says "I accept the license agreement", hit Next, and then I immediately get a popup window saying "Fatal Error", "Installation ended prematurely because of an error." Obviously, the system software isn't installed, and my application won't load, since PhysXLoader.dll is missing.
I have been reading about this and I'm not sure if this is an NVIDIA/ATI problem, or something else. Has anyone else dealt with this issue recently?
