Hi,

For our demo app, we need cloth simulations.
I was looking into Nvidia Physx Cloth simulation.

I tried this
http://www.ogre3d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=47175

For this I am using PhysX SDK 2.8.1, since the latest one is not supported for linux{yet}

But the example is not working, cloth is not visible.
Also the SampleCloth sample is not working either on linux.
From Nvidia forums, I think the problem is linux + cloth on the 2.8.1 SDK.
Mods said that they'll phyx this thing in new version.{v.3.0}

Just wanted to know, if NxOgre for Linux is working properly with cloth simulations ?
Which Physx SDK is it using ?

I was checking thehttp://www.ogre3d.org/addonforums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2617&start=90
It is not updated since two years :(

In case it is not supported..
Can anyone suggest what other libraries I can use or may be use shaders or any other approach for Linux+Ogre for cloth simulations.

Thanks & Regards
DJ

I don't know if the Linux version of PhysX supports Cloth, as I've never tried it out. If the sample cloth application does not work, then Cloth under Linux probably isn't supported.

But; in Windows Cloth under PhysX AND NxOgre works.

Just for Info..

I mailed PhysxSupport, asking about next linux SDK.
They replied that the next linux SDk 2.8.4 will be released in next couple of weeks.
