On the right side is a link(http://www.support.ageia.com).
There you have to register, then wait a few days till they aprove you account, then you can log in and download all the available sdk, sample, etc -software..
A licensed developer ist a developer, who buys a licensed from ageia..for example: Epic Games is a licensed developer..
But you can also download the sdk for non-commercial...if you want to make something commercial with it, then you need to buy a license and become a licensed developer..

Even if you want to use it for commercial goal you can too. But I read that game must be on PC and use PhysX hardware. For other use commercial it is expansive 50,000$.

I'm pretty sure support for Linux and Mac is coming someday, not sure how soon though. And you do know that all the PhysX tutorials, are mirrored in Ogre with NxOgre? IE the same numbered tutorial in the PhysX demo, you can find in NxOgre. And then some.

As for the licensing cost, $50k is a pretty general number that seems to get thrown around. I'd like to know where it came from. Anyways, there are a good amount of licensing options, not just one with a $50k pricetag. Then of course there are more "custom" agreements that can cost more or less. It all depends on what you're doing, and how you're doing it.

All in all though, most projects are non-commercial. Even if it was, you can prototype your game using the non-commercial SDK, then when you get financial support of some kind, bump up to the commercial version.

And $50k is really not that much, if really going to create a game for commercial use.
If you take a look on some other engines, like the new unreal engine 3, the licensing prizes are much higher than this. i remember back, when epic made this "make something unreal"-contest, the grand prize was $50,000 and an Unreal Engine license worth $350,000...and i think that this is not a complete license..so $50K is really not that much.^^

i have PhysX SDK v2.4.4 , i can not run samples of it without installing AGEIA runtime engine that is in my traybar (near my clock on the taskbar) .

is it true , that PhysX is not free for non - commercial use
some people say that after PhysX 2.4 you never can use PhysX for non - commercial use, even you can not use it for your represent or noncommercial demo !!!

is it true?

Yes, you need the trayicon. It's does more things than be a pretty pretty in your desktop tray, it manages different versions of PhysX and if you have hardware works with that too.

You can use PhysX for non-commerical use. If you want to sell your game/application or whatever that uses PhysX then you need to purchase a commercial license.

i dont want sell my demo, but maybe i need to show my demo to some people, i can not ask them to first download AGEINA runtime engine and then download my demo and then play with it !!
however, if i find good customer, i can buy commercial license, its not a big problem for me, but now i dont want use traybar . :(

is it possible that i only use novodex dll file instead a heavy runtime engine that maybe my users kick me.?

Well how else do you think these PhysX games companies expect people to play their games?

You provide the installer with your application.

And no, the trayicon is there for a purpose for the reasons I just said above.
