SVN checkout of Mogre - Missing samples?

Again me!

So I checked out the latest rev. from svn of Mogre and found the Ogre part missing any samples as well as a VC9 solution, while the existing VC8 solution is still referencing the missing samples. Is that all on purpose?
I don't really miss the VC9 solution for Ogre so far as it also works with the VC8 one. However I am just asking myself whether there are some missing parts in the repository.

Any enlightment would be nice

as everything should be there and work righ out of the box..

It is not. I just did an svn update and no samples.
I want to point out, that I am NOT talking about the SDK download.

I assume that the one maintaining the repo might have forgotten to check something in? Maybe the samples for the ogre code have been removed on purpose?

well if you do a fresh download from here:

https://mogre.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/mogre/trunk

you get everything... even the samples for mogre 1.4.8

im not talking about the sdk either
