Bullet Collisions

Hi,

I'm just getting into bullet.

I have a OGRE Scene and I would like to create collision detection for the walls, so the first person character does not cross the walls or beyond the borders of the scene.

I'm new at this, so I would like to see if you can point me to some resources. For example, any particular demo using ogre and bullet that may serve my purpose.

For example, this model I have in 3DS Max. at what point ( I guess the code) do I specify which objects are to be inform when collided and how do I do it when the object is the camera. (Acting as first person)

I read in their pdf, that maya can mark the collision objects and use the plugin. Is there something like that for 3ds Max?

Any comments are appreciated. I'm looking for pointers.
