ORGE is working on mips chips on android platform ?

ORGE is working on mips chips on android platform ?

Hi.
My name is Kihyun Lee from South of Korea.
I have some question.
1. Is it running on android platform ?
2. If chipset of android platform is MIPS, not ARM, ORGE3D is running ?
because I heard Unity3D engine is not running on MIPS chipset.
I will waiting your answer ASAP.

#1 Yes, Ogre3D runs on Android.
#2 No clue ;) . You've got wait for some Android specialist to answer that...

Isn't that more to do with can ogre compile to MIPS it's not android specific?

But this is a good point MIPS is starting to appear in tablet devices.

So basically, is there a compiler that can compile Ogre code and have a mips target output working?

I suspect gcc and clang to match this description. Unfortunately I don't know if Android NDK uses an official or modified version of these.

Just found these two (perhaps helpful) links of Ogre+Android+MIPS. So apparently other have (successfully?) tried it.

Not sure if it'd help but I have an old SGI Indigo that I could use for testing on MIPS. ;)
