Reporting issue in Jira

A bit unsure where I should post this, but I created a account for Jira, but I'm unable to report anything, I cannot find somewhere to 'report' (button etc).

Is there something I need to do? is there a wait for the account to be validated or something like that?

Right at the top should be a "Create issue" button.

I also tried with the browser extension today, and it just says 'loading' under projects.
I double checked account password settings and such in the browser extension.

Yesterday I read this and logged in the Jira without a problem, I see the "Create Issue" next to the "Search For Issues" in the menu.
Maybe try to contact someone from Atlassian?

Just FYI: You need to create an account and login. Only then can you see the button and create tickets.

Logging in was the first thing I did.

By the way, are you sure you validated your account by using the link sent by email by jira? Maybe it's not validated yet.

There is no validation link being sent.

just a confirmation on my account being created.
And like stated above - I can log in and all that.
If the account had to be confirmed I would expect that you could not log in at all before being validated.

Can you please try again now (log-off and log-in) to see if you can see the button now. I did a small change to your JIRA account.

Also - a colleague of mine had the exact same issue as me.
so if a bunch of accounts has the same 'setting' then he's in there (I do not know what nick he used at the time of registration right now).

Yes, I had already fixed the other ten or so accounts that had the same issue when I corrected yours. I will keep an eye on it, to see if it appears again and if so investigate in detail.
