Hi,
Apple just presented a new graphics API named Metal. It seems to follow the trend to be closer to the hardware like Mantle or DX12. Drawback: Looks like it is only available for Objective C.

I am surprised it took them this long to release there own, I am not thinking mantel here more Apples answer to DX.
The next thing will be another apple games console which will use Swift + Metal
