[SOLVED] Ogre 2.0, 1.9 and 1.1 (Xalafu)

[SOLVED] Ogre 2.0, 1.9 and 1.1 (Xalafu)

Hi again

Reading the homepage more closely I saw this item Ogre 1.9 RC2 released & Ogre 1.10 announcement.

Expecting version numbers would go up, what is 1.1 Xalafu and especially why is it v1.1 and not 1.9.1/2.0/3.whatever+?

(oh, life is soo confusing)

You might be misunderstanding how most versionning system works for Ogre.

Here is a good explaination: http://semver.org/ (Ogre is mostly following this).

Basically, "1.10" is not "1.1", these are not floating point numbers!
