Hi Guys,
Pretty excited that I got Ogre 1.9 working inside of Game Maker: Studio today.
Still a long way to go from here, but certainly a solid start.
Just a static scene at the moment. Will be adding functions to include camera's, entities, and the likes right now

Good job!
Apologies for my naivety, but what is your end goal. From my understanding game studio is a self contained game engine? What does integrating it with Ogre give you?

Re: Ogre GM:S
The 3D rendering component is very poorly implemented in GM:S and very nasty.
People have been crying out for a decent 3D engine in GM:S for quite a while now.
The other advantage is that GM:S itself is really well implemented. So, we can still use all of the great stuff like sound, input, GML, and things like that.
In other words faster to get a complete game up and running

Re: Ogre GM:S
Ah I see, it sounds an interesting project . Although I would be tempted to use Ogre 2.0 straight of, instead of starting with 1.x, but I guess depends on your time constraints.

Re: Ogre GM:S
Hehe, only got back into Ogre yesterday after many years.
But, once I am ready I should be able to adapt mt DLL to use Ogre 2.0 instead pretty easily

Re: Ogre GM:S
A quick update
Got a few more things imported in to GM:S now.
It will be a long term project
