I just bought the game (eventually
). The hand-puppet beat me to it
(not to mentio the nice game getting all those really good reviews!).

Hey, did anyone try to download the demo ?
Rapidshare was giving me trouble - when I clicked the "Download" button, it linked another file something like "kyo_-_best_of_kyo_2007__sharedmp3.net_.part1.rar" or "Windows_Live_Messenger_8.5.zip" while in the file name it said: "Download: unwritten_tales_demo.exe (1 545.79 MB)".
I solved the problem by right-click and selecting "Copy Link Address" and pasting that in my address bar, so that way it worked for some reason.
I guess it's a Rapidshare problem, but I thought I'd tell you anyway.

I just tried it as well and got a bunch of certificate errors. So no download here either.

Well, I did what I should have done in the first place: Google.
And it came up with a surprising result - the demo was
uploaded on File Planet yesterday, and thus I have started my download (should finish in about an hour), so when I play it, I'll drop some feedback on my opinion of the gameplay, graphics and an overall rate from my demo experience.

Er, hello?
Did you visit the website?
->
http://www.unwritten-tales.com/demo_download.html
But good Google-foo none the less.
By looking at their website, you can see that it has received awesome reviews.

Yes, we did, but you did not obviously (
) because on their site they link to rapidshare and the link is not working for me and MindClamaity (not that it has to since I ordered the real deal anyway
).

Finally it finished downloading, one thing I noticed it takes way too long for the demo installer to launch, I understand it's packed and all, but a "please wait" message would have been good, but that's just me complaining.
Gonna play it in a few minutes
-Update-
Well I did play it, and I have to say for anyone who's thinking of buying it - it's a no-brainer, the dialogue is very nicely thought-out and that MMO concept had me laughing out loud (literally), I say it's funny, but I believe that thing really showcases what the current reality is and has been for the past 7-8 years (about the time WoW came out), the game has a nice bright mood to it, the story is decent, the voice acting is interesting, the graphics are fabulous, the puzzles are sometimes challenging, but nothing a good walkthrough can't solve (well the game has gained enough popularity to have it's own English walkthroughs), all in all a great game, worth it's price.

Congratulation for your upgrade to an English and Mac version.
I whish you the best for the future. Your game is sweet and its CD box is still on a prominent place of my shelves in my room.
Note:
You also can update the subject of your first post. Then the whole topic title becomes an update.
(e.g. Book of Unwritten Tales -- now in English & for Mac)
Then all showcase users will see this important note - even if they don't click the topic.

Wow, the artwork quality is simply stunning. It's a shame that I found out about this project only now.
I'm a huge fan of classic adventure games, so I'm definitely going to check this one out. I'll probably end up buying it

On a side note, I just finished the game and it was awesome! I didn't finish it the first time because my savegame bugged... but when it was released for linux I just had to buy and play it again!
Great job guys & looking forward to the critter chronicles!

Awesome!
Only that I'm not that big a fan of steam
Any chance it will also come, for example, to the ubuntu software catalog?
