Card game

Post by rewb0rn »

Allthough I feel my project is far from some of those posted here I nontheless want to show you what my artist and me are currently working on. Its a german card game called Doppelkopf, but we plan to add more card games in the future and also add a multiplayer mode. What you cant see is that camera and cards use animations to fade nicely to their positions, but I am going to create a video within the next days.

Yay for Doppelkopf, I was just thinking this week about that I haven't played it for ages along with Schafkopf, looking forward to it :)

Looking good. I have so free advice though :)

The cards in the player's hand look a bit dark. Maybe add a soft light just under the camera?

The whole lighting will be redone at some point.

Thanks for your comments.

I apologize for the bad audio, my mic was too close to the mouth.

Just interested. What MyGUI version do you use?

Note: try to open MyGUI texture and change color balance to make everything green. I think this will be a bit better.

I use the latest SVN version (still having a memory bug in debug, I posted in the forums). We will consider to change the design later, but the default layout is sufficient for now. It's really a great gui!
