Re: 3D rendering of a dynamic environment - UPDATED [9/12/2008]
dude.. this program literally knocked my 9600gt unconscious. after i watched it a little in full screen 800x600, i tried windowed 1280x1024 ... and it crashed right before i started to have artifacts on the screen . i had to shutdown and wait 2 minutes so the monitor would start lol..
but that was the best sunset i've seen in a 3d app congratz

yea, you really need to do something about those shaders, they're crashing loads of video cards As for the sunset, nice blending with hydrax, i'm working on a blend with OceanCG

Re: 3D rendering of a dynamic environment - UPDATED [9/12/2008]
the problem is related to hydrax add depth technique on the terrain mesh.
but I haven't had the time to debug this.

LAST UPDATE 23/02/2009
SOURCE CODE RELEASED
After receiving many requests I have decided to release the source code of my project under LGPL.
The only thing I ask is to report (in this thread) the various projects that integrate all or part of my job.
Any change of interest for the development of the project or bug fix, should always be reported on this thread so I can integrate them into the project as a subsequent release.
The project as it has been issued is not a library, but one with the framework in which it was developed. So it need some work to be used in other projects.
If someone wants to make it modular to be used as a library is authorized to do so, as long as signals in this thread of the detailed design work to be done to make the community involved.
I hope that my work could be of help to many projects.

Thank you very much for sharing the code to your project. I'm sure it will be of great help to people trying to integrate the different libraries together. The download link works fine here, btw.

Unfortunately, neither mediafire.com and megaupload.com works for me
I'll appreciate if anyone upload it to rapidshare.com.

Re: 3D rendering of a dynamic environment - UPDATED [23/02/2009]
I dunno why, but the demo owns my display driver every time. First time I ran the demo, my display driver crashed but then the demo ran normally. (although the moon didn't show up). When I ran it again something seriously wrong happened and how I can hardly see anything on my screen. D:

Wow. Tried running it a third time and got a BSOD. This isn't good at all.
I managed to take a screenshot after I ran it the second time.

Re: 3D rendering of a dynamic environment - UPDATED [23/02/2009]
I have a problem when I run the 3D rendering of a dynamic environment .
The error:
Entry Point Not Found, The procedure entry point deallocateByte@stdAllocPolicy@Ogre@@SAXPAX@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library OgreMain.dll.

Re: 3D rendering of a dynamic environment - UPDATED [23/02/2009]
I had similar issues with ogre, when I was using non power of 2 texture sizes (The driver crashed, and after restarting there were dot's appearing all over the screen). Are all textures in the demo 2^n ?
