The game is finally available on all platforms: Windows, Linux and Mac. You can try demo!
Suprisingly we had more work and strange behaviours with Mac than with Linux. Are there any other Ogre-based games released on Mac?

I love Management/Tycoon games and your game looks awesome! I have not tested it, but I will try it tonight.

Did you guys run into any problems trying to implement Particle Universe? It crashes in my project at createParticleSystem :(

That video just fills me with a warm fuzzy feeling.

So when are we going to see the adults-only rated sequel: "Family Farm - Slaughter House. The cows strike back"?

You might want to ask in the PU forums. I had no problem with mine after I got over a few minor issues.
During the code inspection, a couple of minor points were noticed: -

Function inlining was critical to performance.
For MSVC, at least, a "delete 0" caused execution of 11 assembly instructions, including a function call. So in cases where performance is at an absolute premium it can be worth inserting the extra manual test.

We had some problems with Particle Universe, like particles are not affected by orientation of the node, etc. But there are no big drawbacks.

GUI system is our secret souce... Belive me that I can't disclose more info about it 8) We could share the code we made as library, but it would not be quite valuable...

I ended up debugging my game code to find out what was causing Particle Universe to crash, and there was no bug, just usage of an old library file and bad include directories. Anyways, I also wanted to know what you guys used for .mesh creation? Which programs/plugins if any. I'm having a hard time getting 3ds max 2012 and OgreMax to export a .mesh that my game will actually load, I'm not sure if my mesh loading code needs to be updated, but it seems as though it's crashing on material loading after loading the mesh. Any thoughts, help or suggestions would be nice to hear. Thanks guys, and great job with your game! :)

Thanks for sharing! It's rather daunting to hear that the game wasn't a huge financial success though as it looks very cool and polished.
