Horizon Keepers (trailer + trial)

Post by codrer »

Edit FEB 2016: A trailer is much better than screenshots^^

Hi devs!
My new game (and 2nd using Ogre) is now released: Horizon Keepers is a PC / MMO co-op shoot'em'up.
MMO, shoot'em'up... I don't know what more to say, description speaks for itself I guess^^

Wow, such a nice-looking game!! Loved UI! Can't wait to play though I've got such a shitty connection nowadays :/

Good luck!

Edit: I gave it a try and encountered a few bugs:
- If the mouse pointer is out of window frame when launched, it gets struck and can't be moved into the window
- Nvidia card was not detected on my laptop, even if I explicitly chose it
- Video config options crashed every time when changed

Thanks! HK can be downloaded for free (trial account included). When the 1st boss is cleared people are asked to buy a full account to continue (directly on the homepage). I'll look for steam & co in the next couple of weeks.

Really cool stuff! Congrats on completing it :D I really love the curved horizon effect and the look of the terrain. Very nice work.

@codrer: Once it's really commercial (ideally with the Steam support), mention it here, so you get included in the list: http://www.ogre3d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=84762

@Herb - no direct linux support for now (not enough time). But I've been told that the game runs well using Play on Linux. From time to time there's an exception from OIS.dll, but the next update will completely discard this lib.

@c6burns - Thanks; the trick for the terrain/curved horizon was to use a 100% shader fog ;)

@Spacegaier - Nice! I'll do. Kudos for that^^
