Hi.
I'm fairly new to Ogre, and I'm in the process of learning the basics. However, I find that a bit difficult for version 2.1.
The sample tutorials included in the source is a bit steep and not very explanatory. The tutorials here http://www.ogre3d.org/tikiwiki/Tutorials is not for 2.1, and if I understood it correctly there is quite a difference between the two. The manual here http://www.ogre3d.org/docs/manual/manua ... a-buzzword is for 1.8.
Has anyone any tips where to begin, or is trying to figure out what the code does on my own the way to go?

Re: Updated tutorials?
i would dare say that for learning the basics just use ogre 1.9, it is the most stable/documented/used version of ogre( and still a very capable one )
once you have a "ground base" you can read the ogre2.x Porting manual( in docs folder ) and start experimenting with 2.1 bleeding edges
have fun...
