Uninstalling OGRE 1.8.1 on Ubuntu 14.04

I have an old version of OGRE (1.8.1) on my machine (Ubuntu 14.04), that I apparently installed from source a few years ago. Now, I'd like to uninstall it because I believe it's causing problems with Gazebo (http://gazebosim.org/), but I can't figure out how.

Google turned up this: https://cmake.org/Wiki/CMake_FAQ#Can_I_ ... h_CMake.3F, but I don't have an install_manifest.txt file. I re-downloaded the source code from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/ogre/? ... p_redirect, but it didn't contain the install_manifest file either. I was considering deleting the files manually from /usr/local, but I'm not quite confident that I'll remove the right ones without screwing anything else up.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
