I'm having problems with the spotlight range. While the Inner and Outer parameters work fine, the Falloff doesn't seem to have any effect, no matter the value assigned to it. I've tried anything from 0.1 to 100, it always look as if it's set to 1, even though the getSpotlightFalloff() function returns the desired value.
I'm using Ogre 1.8 and Direct3D9 as a renderer. Does anyone have pointers as to which settings could be producing this behavior? I'm rather new to Ogre so I'm lost as to where/what I should be looking at. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
