I have to say: Ogre rocks! Thanks to sinbad and his crew!

Very cool! I really like retro remakes!

Gravity Clash Source released
Gravity Clash is in a very early stage and there are still tons of features to follow... but it was intended as a learning project from its beginning.
I think in its current stage it is simple enough to be understood what is happening and should be a good source to learn how to write a little game which is using a little code-framework, Ogre, CEGUI and SDL.
If you encounter any problems, please post here.
The source is MIT and also has parts of CEGUI (GEstring is a copy of CEGUI::String).
Gravity Clash source:
http://www.gravity-clash.com/download/s ... 420src.rar
You need
Visual C++ 2005 (Express)
Ogre3D SDK 1.4.1
SDL 1.2.11 (compile yourself)
a bit luck

Gravity Clash v0.1.4b
Changes:
see http://www.gravity-clash.com/
I know this game looks like crap compared to other projects shown here on the showcase - it is a learning project and testing for my "game engine".
I will keep you updated here anyways because many features might be still following:
network support, sound, AI, scriptable missions, campaign-mode, MMORPG where you could become anyone and do anything you want to... ok just kidding
And the game is already good retro-fun
