we are a team from china,and all of us love OGRE very much:)

i'm so glad that you love the pictures:)
in fact ,i'm a programmer of this team,and i'm not so skilled:)my teamates who made the models are very skilled,they are very greate really.in this two projects ,we use lightmap a lot ,also use some shades.and i have to explain that those are not games,because we don't have so much money to make a really commercial game.we love e-games so we try our best to make it:)

in the demo,there is a skybox,and a 3D scene,and some tanks,and the two tanks in the first tank picture are part of the scene ,so their shadows have good quality:)

I understand you've precalculated the lighting for everything in that first tank shot, but I assume that in the second shot, the tank is real time? It appears so since the shadows are much 'harder'.
Superb work. Do you have a project name? These shots deserve to be in the featured projects area, they're beautiful.
