New User with a SCRIPT question. :)

I am reading through the OGRE Manual. Not gotten far.
But as I am reading I have a question on scripts.

Material Scripts etc. What ever can C# be used as a script language
in the OGREDOTNET framework? If it is not currently capable how hard
would it be to switch.

I am hoping to use C# as the scripting engine for everything.
I know how to put it into an application and compile/use it. How hard
would it be to hook it into OGREDOTNET.
