No, MOgre does not (yet) support mono. If you need Ogre Dot Net, use it. It works fine with the Ogre 1.2.x versions (I used it before I switched to Mogre). Or, alternatively, you can maintain it yourself if you really need it ;)

OgreDotNet works with 1.2.0 only...

I'm not able to mantain it... :(

*Trolling*
All the more reason to stick with a language/platform that provides true cross platform support like Python. If you don't have a big project to convert you can try out Python-Ogre.

What are the hurdles in getting Mogre to work with Mono?

is there a comparison btw mono's c# and python? wht are the differences btw both languages, pros and contr ? since i have been hearing about python time ago, well not that much time, when at first it was more like a hobby project but i never took it seriously becouse the same way many languages appeared before at the end they end up as a script language in the better case  specially now that lnguages (like mono project) are becoming crossplatform and compliant with .NET framework anyway python sounds interesting... and what better if it can run OGRE :D

The problem is converting a very large project.

We'd need the support for 1.2.3 (better shadows handling) and newer versions in the future AND mono support.

Also converting to mogre would be a very difficult thing, even if it's the same language. The issues are related to different input ms windows-specific which should to be completely re-written.. and many other things...

when we begun project ogredotnet was well-supported...
anybody knows what are the motivations of this abandon?
