I just created a really basic (as in 5 minutes required to do this) Ogre Dot Net logo for the wiki page...
I posted it here:

I don't really care for basketball so I don't like the logo. how about an Orge logo breaking through a cargo net?
I suggest we have a contest: Let all ODN users submit a logo, then have a vote over the weekend.. what do you think?

What I was thinking was we could have all sorts of logos... there's no real need to have an "official" one.
I was having a good laugh with ElectricBliss last night. Imagine the following:
The ogrehead with a hair net on.
The ogrehead flying past a goalie as it goes in to the net of a soccer goal.
The ogrehead covered in a butterfly net or fishing net
There are so many kinds of nets out there.
A lot of possibilities!

The net could probably be shorter. And more stylized.
The small version of the logo could just be
Ogre with the 'O' in a net?
The only other net I can think of atm is a spider net.
