Este post va destinado especialmente a Alberts ya que también es español como yo. Quiero proponerle traducir el wiki al español, poco a poco y lentamente y crear un foro. Si es posible bajo el amparo de ogre3d.org

Ya ha habido gente que ha intentado crear una comunidad en español, pero ninguna ha tenido mucha suerte (echale si quires un vistazo a este hilo en el foro general 'Only for spanish people'). Comprueba después el resultado en 'http://profesorxy.cogia.net'.

No creo que, por ahora, crear una comunidad de ODN sea muy buena idea, porque hay muy pocos usuarios. Sería mejor que fuese un addon de una comunidad de ogre en español, como aqui. Podriamos pedirle al administrador de 'http://profesorxy.cogia.net' que cree un subforo especifico para ODN.

¿Te has pensado bien lo de traducir el wiki? Es un esfuerzo importante. Quizás sería mas interesante emplearlo en ODN.

Se que a veces es complicado entender el 'guiri', pero luego te acostumbras , y siempre tienes la posibilidad de preguntarle a alguien que hable en cristiano por aquí !!

I think that nowadays an ODN comunity for spanish people isn't a good idea, because there are few users. I think it would be better to be an addon in a spanish ogre comunity (like it is here). We can ask to the 'http://profesorxy.cogia.net' website administrator to open an ODN forum.

Are you sure about translating the wiki? It is a great effort. I think it'd be better to employ this effort in contributing to ODN.

Aunque comprendo que tus intenciones son loables, en mi modesta opinión, un poco de soltura en la lengua inglesa es y seguirá siendo requisito indispensble para todo aquel que quiera aprender programación gráfica.

Desgraciadamente, la mayoría de los recursos relacionados con programación gráfica están unicamente en Inglés (libros de shaders, documentación de apis, etc). Incluso te diría que me parece bien que así sea, pues de esta forma llegan a un publico más numeroso.

Mi recomendación para todo aquel que quiera de verdad aprender programación gráfica, es que invierta bastante al principio en el aprendizaje de la lengua inglesa. Sino, su carrera será bastante más ardua, aunque nada es imposible

I'm a Spanish speaker and I've been lurking for a while... as they've said, I don't think there are enough Ogre users to justify the effort. However, you could argue that having a translated version could be a good way to get more users from the English speaking world... it's unlikely though, since most of us using this sort of resources are likely to understand at least a basic level of English.
In any case, solo porque me gusta mi idioma, I would be ready to help out with little bits of the wiki translation.
