Textbox question.

Hi, is me again...
I am now creating a textbox and having problem to larger the size of my input texts.
And I can't find any API or reference about this.
Is there any functions I can use to lager it?
(I 've tried larger the dimentions but it doesn't work :( )

And a little confused, if I already defined code_points in my .fontdef, do I still need to do setSupportedCodePoints?

About the Chinese input.
Before I can spell Chinese(require to press 2 ~ 4 keys ), the English characters were read instead.

The updated version of the TextBox will be found in the latest unofficial release. I will update the sticky thread so people can use it.

I don't have the code on hand, but I think the TextBox would have this function:

setDefaultFont(...);

Or you can set the font property before creating the TextBox. Please note with the latest version, the property names are prefixed with the widget class, making it easy for users to make use of Widget-specific properties. Some examples:

TextBoxDesc tbd;
tbd.widget_dimensions = Rect(...);
tbd.textbox_defaultFontName = ...;
tbd.widget_visible = true;
etc.

If you get an exception, what is the error message?

Can you post the ogre.log?

Are you able to step through the constructor and see where the crash occurs?

Didn't get an exception, just auto shut down.
I don't know if I forgot some steps or not....
My step:
tool -> option -> VC++Directory -> Include Files -> ADD: E:\OgreSDK\QuickGUI_8_12\QuickGUI\include (Oringinally 8_09)

tool -> option -> VC++Directory -> Library Files -> ADD:
E:\OgreSDK\QuickGUI_8_12\bin (Oringinally 8_09)

Copy the QuickGUI.dll to my bin/release and cover the old one.

Clean the project, rebuild it again.

I don't see any of the new logging I added in your log. I think there is some mixup between your previous and new version. Maybe delete your qgui code completely, re-download, build, and integrate into your app. Try to run the quickgui demo.

Sorry, I still can't get it work.....
I have deleted all my QuickGUI versions and installed ver.8.12.
But it still auto off when goes to ----> new QuickGUI::Root();
And I don't see any changes to the logs...

Are you able to run the demo?

Its possible I didn't add the logging information until after I uploaded that zip, but in either case you should be able to run the demo.

I am not able to run the playpen also.
Maybe you might want to find someone who has more experience...
I've just learn program for about 2 years only....I think is me doing somewhere wrong.
