Adjust the exported bone order

Hi folks,
I wondered if it is possible to manually adjust the order in which the bones are exported in Lexi. In my case this is causing problems because I want to reuse animations for multiple meshes but unfortunately when exporting the meshes they seem to have a different bonehierarchy, resulting in wrong weights or rather some parts seem to be attached to the wrong bones.
I guess I can fix it inside max somehow... all I need to know is how Lexi determines the order in which to export the bones and how to change this.
