Vertex Highlighting

Im using ETM 2.3.1 and its working a treat. Im trying to figure out if the following is possible -
highlighting a cell thats currently under the pointer, so I know exactly where the terrain will
either be deformed, or where the currently selected splatting texture will be splatted?

Maybe it's not, and I'll need to figure a way around it, but thought I'd ask anyhow
