Hi,

Some guy have ask following problem:

Why do you have to specify the ranges etc in the xml file? Can't this information be extracted from the ttf files?

ttf file may have lots of characters for many different characters, for example Chineese, Russian, English, Arabic and so on, but I'm sure that you don't need all of them. We render all selected characters into texture and use only this texture in runtime.

you see there are lots of chinese characters , if use range in the xml file, then it will hard for user to write xml file.

i mean if you could support the second way for language which has lots of characters ,but set range

thanks : )
