ZIP file is O.K.
A screenshot of what the directory structure is supposed to look like
would help. I haven't been able to run anything for a year at least. Also the
new mesh viewer is totally incomprehensible.

that looks like dll mix (old ogre + new plugins, etc...)
Download a fresh copy of everything and compile plsm2 yourself, make sure dependency works.
