cvs vs SDK

I search for information on this, so if I missed something I apologize.

Do we miss out on any functionality by using the sdk compatible version as opposed to the cvs?

In my opinion, not really.

When some new functionality is added to CVS, you'd miss out until a new SDK is released. But you also miss out on any instability in the CVS version. I don't think the SDK's are lagging too far behind CVS these days.
