Build Issues

Ok, I have obviously made an incorrect choice. I realize that, but I would really like it if someone could explain the options to me! I updated the PLSM via CVS and I went to build and I was confronted with three Visual Studio 8 solutions. I saw plsm2_vc8.sln, plsm2_vc8_SDK.sln and plsm2_vc8_CVS. Well I thought to myself, "Hmmm, which one?" I then thought, "well, I am not using the Ogre SDK, so I can rule that one out, so it's down to plsm2 and plsm2_cvs. Hey I'm a cutting edge kinda guy, let's go with the plsm2_CVS and see what we get!" What I got was the fact that it took, literally HOURS to build the debug build! And then, to top it all off NONE of the projects succeeded! I got 748 errors, 116115 warnings and 5 failed projects! So now I ask to you, wtf is plsm_vc8_cvs.sln?! And how does if differ from plsm2_vc8.sln and plsm2_vc8_SDK.sln?!

all i know is that when i built i chose plsm2_vc8.sln This worked ok.

plsm2_vc8.sln => Source ogre SDK, with PLSM2 folder being inside ogre source folder.
plsm2_vc8_SDK => binary ogre SDK
plsm2_vc8_CVS => ogre CVS tag v-1.2
