Hi,
I have a question about splatting and what exactly the capabilities of it are. For instance, I have a classification map which defines where certain types of terrain are (ie. grass, sidewalk, road) via chunks of solid colors. Is it possible for me to specify (via .gen.cfg, .cfg, or .material file) the color for each classification and an image to tile wherever that color is?
So the output from this would be an actual grass texture for grass, road texture for roads, etc. instead of solid colors.
Is something that is possible with splatting?
If this is possible, should it be done as part of the mapsplitting or a runtime?
Thanks in advance
