I keep seeing people mention that the PLSM2 is moving towards a "general purpose scene manager". I'm curious what that means.
tuan, could you give a brief summary of what that effectively means or point me to a blog, forum post, or something that would give me a better idea. Are you looking to for instance handle things like buildings, cities, and dungeons /caves (larger interiors than single buildings) on top of all of the landscape features?
If I'm misunderstanding what people are saying and there are no huge plans, that's cool too. I just want to know if I'll have to somehow use two scene managers for my future project or if PLSM2 will handle all of my needs .
