[help] PLSM disables stencil shadows

I cannot get stencil shadows to work with PLSM2 (CVS). Even the entities self-shadows no longer work, so its not an issue with the terrain shader. It works fine if I simply change the scenemanager to GENERIC.

It does work with point lights, but my problem is directional light, which is what I need (its outdoors, need a sun right?)

I searched the forum top to bottom but haven't found a solution.

I would really appreciate any help, maybe it is some setting somewhere in the scene manager that is messed up? Maybe someone with general knowledge of Ogre internals can think of why shadows dont work with a certain type of light?
