Hi,
I'm an OGRE newbie trying to create a nice looking terrain. I am wondering if I can do vertical texture mapping to a terrain using PLSM or Terrain Scene Manager. This is what I am trying to achieve:
http://www.quadsoftware.com/html/Editor ... ertmap.htm
In PLSM and TSM, texture is applied horizontally. On a steep slope, the texture gets stretched. If I can apply texture vertically, or (even better) in a varied degree, it would improve the terrain's appearance very much.
I have searched the docs and forums for the solution, but couldn't find one, so I am guessing I cannot do it by configuring PLSM or TSM, and I need to do it programmatically. Is this true? If so, could you advise me on what in PLSM I need to modify, and how? An example code?
Thank you,
