I can't seem to find a demo that works for shoggoth please help. I have spent a lot of time on build settings but this is the only addon that I can't seem to find a workable demo.

OK I got the demo to work... Every few seconds the terrain turns pitch black and fades back into color after a few seconds. Is this correct behavior?
Update: Turns out the fade to black had something to do with the data set (hf129_3)?
I tried running gcanyon_height_4k2k, few things I noticed:
1) Very choppy and inconsistent framerate when paging in, from 300 fps to less than 100 fps with freezes
2) Serious LOD issues that are just downright weird. I just ran the demo, hit m and space and arrow keys and mouse and I wound up in this strange state that clearly does not look right:
