Modify PointStarField & Astronomy

Hello Again,
I have an idea to utilize this awesome library to an astronomy - learning software. The point star field is so great. And the software is going to show the user about the stars, the astrology, the galaxy, etc. In order to accomplish that, I thought I should be able to modify the stars (position, add new stars, etc). Is it feasible? Thank you!

I don't see why not. However; Caelum's starfield is fairly simplistic. What exactly do you have in mind?

Many things, some of them perhaps: (1) show the user a specific constellation, if the user click the "ursa minor" constellation, then the sky is rotating in order that the user can see the ursa minor with the stars that part of the ursa minor being highlighted and connected with line. Or (2) the user may click a specific star, and can query information about the star.
I am sure there are still many more idea that can utilize caelum's star.
