Is double sided collision possible in Newton

Is there a way in Newton to define 2-sided collisions, i.e. not only the normal oriented side of a mesh can collide but also the opposite normal side?

If not is there a way to define collisions relative to the opposite normal side programmatically without having to "invert" the mesh in my modeller?

if you are using 3ds max you can set 2 sided faces, and I'm guessing that newton woul dprobably recognized that as a collision. I haven't tried it, but you could check it out.

there is no way to define a *2-sided" collision on a TreeCollision object.

the only way to do that would be to create 2 polygons there, each facing opposite directions.... but why would you want a wall with no thickness? that will be difficult for the physics system to handle properly I think.
