Scaled World Problem

Hi there,

When I started my project I used the scale of 1 unit = 1 m. This worked fine. Today I decided to make the scale 1 unit = 1cm. So I scaled everything up by a 100. (I scaled the world as well). Now collisions are crazy. My character which has a cylinder collision body collides with the floor that is treeCollision. But boxes that are convex collision shapes doesn't collide with the floor. Both floor and box are default material. Instead of actually stopping, the box just slows down when it hits the floor, but passes through nonetheless.

What is happening here?

some of your values must not be in the same scale as the others...

what units are you using for mass, and gravity?

sorry I didn't post earlier, but I found that my mass was a result of a multiplication of density and size, I didn't change the density because I remembered it as a mass. Problem solved. However, I ran into some other problems as well.

Do you know how a scale of this kind would affect torque?

if your moment of inertia values are not accurate, it shows up as unrealistic torque / rotation.

oh, that might be it. I'll check it out, thanx.
