ogre and newton noob questions

Hello all.

I'm new to ogre, newton and... Programming
My plan is to make a emergency services simulation game (in one step at a time)


I downloaded Newton 1.53SDK, Ogre 1.4.7 and ogrenewt.
I'm using VS 2008, but i notices, there isn't a Ogrenewtvc9.sln file in the ogre newt folder. Can I just use the vc8 file, converted by vs??
