GHOST object?

can i, using Newton, create ghost object ( sensor), that can detect collision, but not react for it

yes. create the object as normal.

assign it a special materialID.

then, create a ContactCallback between the "ghost" material, and the material you want to detect.

in the "userProcess" callback, notify your system of the collision.
then, return zero (0) from the callback to ignore the collision.
