Problem when exporting mesh to Ogre

Hi
After exporting a box(with 8 vertices) from 3DSMax to Ogre, The box make 24 vertices mesh in Ogre!

Haffax said that smoothing group can help but im not success to do that!
Anyone can help me?

This is because boxes in Max are created with several different uv's (because each face have a different material Id), you need to select all vertices and assign the same UV to all of the vertices (or remove UV information from the mesh), then simply select all polygons and set a single smoothing group for all of the polys

After this the mesh will be produced with 8 vertices only as you need
