Exporting from SMD ( Half Life )

Hi people,

I have this problem: I got a model from Half Life 2 (MDL) and decompile this model to smd, using milkshape. After that, I've imported it in 3ds max and exported using oFusion. The problem is that oFusion didn't generate a mesh but a lot of them. I think it generate a mesh to the hand, other to the head and so on. Is there a way to generate only one mesh that represents my character?

first.
dont use MilkShape.
use this: http://www.chaosincarnate.net/cannonfodder/cftools.htm

And the problem could be that the meshes are not attached, so attach the meshes, it's an option in edit mesh/poly
