I don't know how to solve this, its like the skin weights are disapeared... and my character deforms as it moves... except for the first and last frame (its an animation cicle)

Any ideas??

Provide more description of your issue, what is your object character setup, post some screenshots

What i got is the plain mesh and some bones...
the mesh has a skin modifier with all the bones added except those tips liying outside the model.

I've set up some hi ik handles in the skeleton and parented them to some splines to help my self selecting them, etc...

Another detail I have discovered is that while I don't set any keys I can take the skeleton to any pose and update the ogre viewport and it gets deformed well...

I can send you the scene by mail if you wan't so you can take a look directly on it... ok? what's your mail?

OK I just downloaded and tried to see if I could export it right with this new version...

Skeleton now exports ok (no more bones scattered all over the place) and the animation shows all right in the skeleton in ofusion viewport but the mesh simply disappears.

I tried to get an old version of the file: the non skined-mesh is displayed well but when I apply skin modifier again it disappears.

I reviewed your scene today, the issue is that you have a root node that is not part of the skeleton, you should have a single root node for the skeleton and all the bones/nodes must be part of this skeleton (added to the skin modifier in this case)

This is what you need to do to get the correct results for your scene:

Load the scene
Select the animated mesh
Do a Rest Xform for this mesh, Go to utilites and click on Reset Xfom (this is needed for the node that we will add in the next step to dont affect the current assigned bones)
Unhide the "Star01" object (this is the root of your skeleton) and add to the animated mesh bones (to the skin modifier)
Update the preview viewport

The animated object should be displayed and animated correctly
