Ogre Logo messed up in new version.

I'm sorry if this has been addressed. I searched the forums for the word 'logo'. As you can imagine, searching for 'ofusion' or 'error' beside it wouldn't contribute much to the search.

I've recently upgraded ofusion to the ce edition. After I did so, the ofusion logo got all messed up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, then uninstalling and reinstalling max, then uninstalling everything, whiping the directories and cleaning out the registry. The problem is persistent but seems to be isolated. The rest of the render window seems to work properly. I'll host a picture of the error if you require it later. Right now I'm short on time. The Logo appears once large, with smaller, cut-off versions of itself scattered in towards the centre. The other itterations don't break the boarder of the original logo.

My box:

- AMD 64 dual core 4400+
- RAM - four 512MB DIMMs OCZ PC4200 Platinum EL.
- VGAs - two ATI 850XT Crossfire
- OS: Windows XP Pro SP 2
- 3ds max 7

Same results whether crossfire is on or off, and whether max's CPU affinity is set to 1 or 2 cpus.

If you require any other information, let me know.

Oh, now it seems to be crashing when I'm attempting to build shaders. In tutorial 1, when I attempt to set the first Ogre/BasicVertexPrograms/AmbientOneTexture worldViewProjection matrix to auto it explodes and max crashes.

edit: AND, when I uninstall it using the shortcut installed to the start menu, max still seems to think that ofusion is present.

edit: rolling back the version to the one I had earlier (it's fairly old) seems to remedy these problems.

About the shader, it is a known issue that has been fixed, (the hotfix link will be posted when we are done with the server moving)

Are you using the latest drivers for your video hardware? the screenshot could help to determine if its a drivers/memory issue

Here's the image:

http://www.koti.phnet.fi/holoantt/images/doh.jpg

And some information about my drivers:

Driver Packaging Version 8.252-060503a-032464C-ATI
CATALYST® Version 06.5
Provider ATI Technologies Inc.
2D Driver Version 6.14.10.6614
Direct3D Version 6.14.10.0399
OpenGL Version 6.14.10.5819

I guess they're up to Catalyst 6.8 now. I did download those drivers recently, though. I haven't had this computer for more than a couple of months.

Oh yeah, and what I meant to say was oFusion logo. I was really tired when I wrote that bug report and made a few typos. We'll get to the heart of the matter inspite of my lies sooner or later, hehe.

In CE version the image cant be hidden

It seems to be a mimap bug on your drivers, we tested with several configurations and the issue cant be reproduced

We will do other tests and create a hotfix for this issue if applicable
