oFusion difficulty in animating character model

While runnung the oFusion sceneloader demo application with an OSM file, I'm facing few problems:

- initially the scene loads as black screen, but on applying additional light sources, its better (is this normal?)

- textures do not apply evenly e.g. for the walls, one side has the texture and the other doesn't.

- the animation for the model loaded, animates the skeleton and not the overlying texture. (i see the skeleton walk away as the texture stays in its initial place)

The OSM and the .mesh files have been exported from 3ds max, i've uploaded them at http://www-scf.usc.edu/~bugga/media.zip
I would like to know if I'm missing something here or where am I going wrong.
(e.g. there may be something wrong/ missing from the osm or mesh files)
Following is the scene as it appears when I load office1.osm file, which loads the meshes for each wall in the models folder.
