Creating OSM files in other apps

I'm currently adding scene exporting to the Sketchup exporter for Ogre. I'd like to support both dotScene and OSM output.

Basically, are there any license issues (or it's just frowned apon) with generating OSM files by something other than oFusion?

oFusion or dotScene are just XML format definitions, I don't think there can be a license for that.

True, but since oFusion has a commercial version, I want to be extra careful I don't annoy anyone.

There is no problem implementing the OSM format in your applications

It would be good if you can supply a link with your applications/documentation where your users can get more information on using OSM files in their applications, i.e. where to download the latest OSM scene loader or where to get help if needed
