Importing materials

Hi! I'm new to oFusion and this tools seems really great :)
But I have few questions/problems...

--Is it possible to import .material files into 3DMax ?

--How to save a material we're happy with? I tried to save my oFusion material in the Max librairy but it seems there's a problem to use by importing from the library : in fact the vertex shaders parameters are lost and I have to set again WorldProjMatrix ... to get the material to work again.

--Where can I find a material library usable in oFusion (glass, bump, water and so on)

Thanks!!

1. Currently you cant import .material files, there is no point in supporting this

If you feel that his should be supported, provide some real cases or suggestions of why, and we will reconsider its implementation

2. The materials should be saved in the material library without problems, can you provide a test scene were this can be reproduced? (and i will take a look it)

3. A material library will be released in the next weeks, with the most common used material types (if you have suggestions on the material types, or what concrete materials you feel are the most useful to you, post them)

Well, I didn't create this thread but couldn't resist providing the main reason:
if a person is new to ogre and *.material files, he can import them along with a *.mesh and edit em in 3ds max, then export back.

I'm in favour of this move myself. It's not vital but it would make oFusion more user friendly.

Well it could be usefull to use in Max some materials that you don't created yourself with oFusion (Ogre examples or .materials taken on forums etc..)

I created a scene with a normal bumped wall. I saved the material into the library.

Then I load the scene, everything is ok.

I create another object. load the material from the library, apply the material : problems... The object isn't moving anymore (only the white selection dummy in oFusion view). I have to set again the vertex shaders properties to get it back to normal.
